Irises Blooming at One of Our Favorite Spots

One of our favorite spots just put a notice in the paper that their irises are blooming... which means it might be time for a trip over their way!

The display gardens at this local farm are rather legendary locally.  They are most known for their daylillies in the summer, with the peak hitting, usually, in mid-July.

One year, though, with relatives visiting, I thought it would be interesting to see their irises.  It was well worth the short drive!

We feature this spot in a couple of our tours (Summer's Wistful Day, for example)... soon it will be time for blueberry picking over there, too!
